Walgreens Rolls Out Store-Brand Beer

The drug-store chain Walgreens has introduced Big Flats 1901, a budget beer that prices in at $2.99 a six-pack, in 4,600 of its stores. What do you think?

"Well, 1901 was a good year for shitty beer."

John Kelliher • Systems Analyst

"It really is a great value. The beer's 'compare to Icehouse' label showed me that it has the exact same active ingredient in the exact same amount."

Pam Dailor • Mine Safety Inspector

"If it's half as good as the store-brand dental floss, sign me up!"
